Great Awakenings exists to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and local churches in helping initiate and sustain a biblical spiritual awakening through reviving believers, raising evangelists, reaching people, and reproducing disciples in communities across Kansas, the United States and throughout the world. 

Reviving Believers

Great Awakenings seeks to come along side the local church as a fellow member of the body, and help to spiritually strengthen her for the task of evangelism preparing for the coming of Jesus.

Won't you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you? (Psalm 86:5)

Raising Evangelists

Great Awakenings seeks to pray for, train up, send out and support the work of the Evangelist. 

The harvest is so great, but the workers are so few.  So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send out more workers for his fields. (Matthew 9:37-38).

Reaching People

Great Awakenings seeks to love people by going to them and sharing the message of Jesus.   

He felt great pity for the crowds that came, because their problems were so great and they didn't know where to go for help.  They were like sheep without a shepherd. (Matthew 9:36).

Reproducing Disciples

Great Awakenings seeks to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, calling souls to turn from their sin to Christ and become an active part of the body of Christ. 

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teaching these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.  And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matt. 28:19-20).
